Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you request a match.

How matching works, what providers handle, what to prepare, and when a pest concern belongs with an emergency resource.

Does Indy Pest Match perform pest-control work?

No. Indy Pest Match is an independently branded lead-generation business operated by The Healey Farm LLC. We connect requests with independent providers; the provider performs any inspection, quote, treatment, billing, and follow-up.

Is the quote request free?

Yes. Requesting a match is free and does not obligate you to hire. The independent provider explains any inspection fee or service price before work is authorized.

Can I request help with bed bugs today?

Yes. Select Bed bugs and Today on the request form. Bed bug requests are routed as a distinct, higher-priority service category, but timing is not confirmed until an eligible provider responds.

How quickly will a provider contact me?

Response time depends on location, pest type, timing, and provider capacity. Accurate contact information and a concise description make the first conversation faster.

May a provider visit before I approve service?

The form lets you state whether a provider may visit the property to prepare a quote. A visit is not permission to begin paid work; confirm scope and price directly with the provider.

What areas do you serve?

Matching focuses on Indianapolis and surrounding communities, with the strongest emphasis on the Southside. Coverage is confirmed for each address and pest category.

How do I compare pest-control quotes?

Compare the pest and areas covered, method, preparation, included visits, follow-up, guarantee conditions, exclusion or repair work, and the full expected cost—not only the first payment.

What credentials should an Indiana provider have?

Credential requirements depend on the work. Indiana businesses applying pesticides for hire generally must meet Office of Indiana State Chemist requirements. Ask the provider which business and applicator credentials apply and verify them through official state resources.

Should I clean before an inspection?

Document evidence first and create reasonable access. Avoid major cleaning or pesticide use that could erase evidence, and never sweep or vacuum dry rodent droppings. Pest-specific preparation instructions may differ.

What if this is a medical or poisoning emergency?

Call 911 for an immediate life-threatening emergency. For suspected pesticide poisoning or exposure in the United States, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Do not wait for a quote callback.
